Kanguro de la Careta Negra is 11 weeks old today. He will be NVBK registered. His sire and dam are both exceptional dogs. The dam, Flea (Donovan's Jenny) was bred by Dominick Donovan. He produced very successful litters with her and I am told has been singing the praises of Kaki, his pup from this litter. Flea lives here with me she is very social with people of all ages but does have an edge. She has a naturally full bite. She is not bite trained but will bite anything from a tug to a suit if given the chance. Above all Flea is agile. ...maybe one of the most agile dogs I have every seen. The sire, Togo, is an impressive dog. He is a working patrol and narcotics detection K9. He is a son of A'Tim and Ultra du Ciel Rouge. Togo is huge at 95 pounds and he bites very hard and full. Togo, is great. ...a dog you could trust as your partner when it hits the fan. He is social but very serious. You can see the pedigree, a photo gallery and a brief description of the breeding at:

Kanguro is big boned and I anticipate him being on the large side. He has prey drive but is not the typical ball crazy Mal. He and his siblings seem to enjoy the fight more than the toy. He has done a bit of bite building with a tug while posted out over the past few weeks. These pups have never been discouraged from biting... I have lost four pairs of pants to date from them going at my legs. I have walked at least 50 yards, up and down steps through shallow water, over ice, etc with the pups hanging on and thrashing my pant legs. They also seem to know where my tendons are, ouch. He has started crate training. He has been on a leash and will be even more from here on out. He has been socialized with my family, friends and clients of all ages as well as at the park and with other dogs. He is currently eating a primarily raw diet and has been minimally vaccinated. I am keeping one of the females myself even though I had originally planned not to keep any. I just can't pass her up for her working and breeding potential. I am sure whomever gets Kanguro will be very pleased with him. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to come see the pups.
