I think the snow threw the rabbits and the dogs off today.

Nice pictures, the training you are doing with them, compares that with what we see overhere by the labradors and Golden retriever?
How many times a week do you have to practise?

Not sure what they use the labs and goldens for over there. I am using them to hunt rabbits. The best would be to run them everyday. Which I wish I could do. I am just getting in to hunting. Twice a week should be enough have some good rabbit dogs.
I had a beagle as my kid's pet. She came from hunting lines but we have her as a pet. I started going hunting with my girlfriend's father. So I breed my female and now raising two of the pups in the picture. The other two pups came from field champ lines. One of them isn't worth feeding, well he'll make a good pet for someone. The smallest one is a the replacement. I bought the first pup for my father in-law. Since it didn't work out he is get the small pup. I am just now finding some places to run them. The problem is everywhere I have to run them is far away. This last place was over an hour away. So it makes it hard to run them. I hope to join a local beagle club about 10 minutes away from the house. This should put me up in good shape for having some good rabbit dogs.

Great link. They use that dog for all kinds of different prey.
