So heres my take on this. Watch your kids better. And Any man who has to keep 5 different dogs and has to keep em all on chains needs a good trainer and 4 less dogs. He didnt have the right amount of time for those pups no matter how much he loved em. Isnt the dogs fault. Its the Parents and Dog owners.

I agree. There should have been better supervision, especially if they had a special needs child in the home. In the same token, I don't believe in keeping a yard full of dogs chained up, either. Were the dogs whole lives revolving on the chains around their necks? Were they socialized, trained, and shown any type of affection from the family? It's a tragedy, and hopefully animal control can rehabilitate the animals that didn't kill the child. I'm assuming the one resposible will be put down. Sad story.

yes, the problem I see here is the child's parents. If you have a child with special needs, you need to pay more attention to them and the dangers around your house (like open doors and open gates) I know some charges are going to be filed against the man, because thats the way our country is, but I don't see him being at fault.
