Any ideas how to housebreak a 6-month old puppy? She only goes in one area most of the time, and only if we forget to let her out right away after eating/drinking. Very annoying since that one place is our bedroom

crate training.

Yeah that's not working too hot, we have a crate for her that she sleeps in and stays most of the time. I let her out first thing in the morning, and after she eats (which is when she usually does it). Also at various other times, like whenever I'm out in the shop or out back working on one of the cars or something. Peeing happens after drinking pretty quickly, unless it just a small drink. Usually either one happens when we're not looking or paying attention, so we usually never catch her in the act.

When you find the pee in the house. Take her outside immediatly don't scold her she wont know what she did wrong than. When you take her outside you wait for her to go pee the minute she is peeing..praise her like she did the best thing in the whole world also bring try to bring a small treat with you whenever you take her outside so when she is done going potty giver her that afterwards. If she doesn't go potty...when you go back inside put her in her crate for a few minutes than take her back outside if she goes than praise if not do the same thing back in her crate. Eventually she will get the hang of it. That is how I potty trained my dog and it worked. He was trained within a week.
