yeah, she's a Chihuahua pup... but my fiancee got her and she's a purebred AKC registered dog. Her name is Julie she's all of 9 weeks old and gets along with my male cat Dodge just great.

he actually is really good with her. plays with her, if she cries he tries to open the door to see whats wrong. We haven't had to scold him at all for being too rough yet.

That's good. 9 week is still pretty young so you never know if it will change. Does the cat have claws still?

A couple of update pics. Julie really has come out of her shell and loves to play. She was 3 months old on the 12th, and still loves playing with "her cats" When Dodge gets tired of playing he knocks her on the head to let her know, and she quits. I still have to tell Julie to stop biting Frankie, my female cat who is terrified of Julie, but they sleep together on the couch while we watch TV

I was able to read it on lunch and looks like what I've been doing is what he tells to do. Yelp at the dog, like other puppies do (we've moved on to saying "OUCH! NO!" and she stops, or, distracting her with other toys, which we started doing when she was younger.

yeah I just want to socialize her so she doesn't run up and bite random people. She's more socialized then my mom's german shepards thats for sure!
