What do you look for in pick of the litter?

Lets hear it! I always hear "pick of the litter" What do you look for? Does it matter at 8 weeks or even 6 weeks?

When I "picked" Pig it was because he was the first out and the largest and first to actually bark AND later was first to "claim" the remote..
The blaze on his chest helped too the rest only had racing stripes between their legs..
The second litter had a carbon copy but we're at our limit.. He went to a fellow SDAC member though!

I planned on keeping one for hunting reasons. :) Plus I told the oldest girl she could have a pup and I am still waiting for the breeder to have a litter (going to be a year).
