I have had it with my bastard. He is getting too comfortable coming when he feels like it when called on potty breaks, so it's time for a shock collar. Anyone have any recommendations? I was looking at this: http://www.k9electronics.com/product/SDA16-SD2400/SD2400ProHunterDogTrainingCollar.aspx
I'd like to keep int the 200$ or less range, and it must be waterproof. I am willing to do Ebay if anyone knows of a far superior model.

not sure I think the Petsafe is kind of junky. My petsafe fence sucks.

Good price! I just started having issues with the girls messing the house and two decided to start wandering.
If ya have a barking issue I have to recommend this (http://www.gundogsonline.com/bark-control-products/bark-collars/citronella-bark-collar.html)
At home they just bark and fog the place out but the minute we get to the farm they shut up and do their job..

i think i'm going for the one with the 1/2 mile range simply because the other one has no warning, only nick, and sustain. the other one has nick, sustain, and a vibrate warning, so i can vibrate it when he is well out of sight as a "you better fucking coming here right now" and give him 20 seconds and then shock the shit out of him.

Cant go wrong with Dogtra. But you might want to get him coming to you on a long line with it before letting him out completely. If your not careful your send em in the other direction.

he has great recall, except when he is on a potty break, then i have to call him twice to make the point, especially if he smells some piss he wants to piss over. the other thing that pisses me off is when i call sitz across the parking lot and looks at me like "do i have to?" in both cases he'll do what i want when he realizes that i am about to make him do it, ie I walk briskly towards him he'll either start running to me or sit his ass down, but it isn't as prompt as it needs to be. that's why i need the "hand of god"
