which prompted the news to tell people if you are attacked by a dog(s) to NOT run, don't yell, talk in a calm voice, cover your face, and if a dog bites your arm the worst thing to do is to try and shake them off....

looks like they've updated the story since I posted it... they hadn't released that they were American Bulldogs. My wife's old room mate has an american bulldog, and they're quite different from pitbulls
